T-value
T-value is a statistical measure that represents the difference between the mean values of two groups, divided by the standard error of the difference between the means. In data science, T-value is commonly used in hypothesis testing to determine if the difference between two sample means is significant or if it occurred by chance. The T-value is calculated by subtracting the mean of one group from the mean of the other group, dividing the result by the standard error of the difference, and comparing the result to a T-distribution table to determine the probability of obtaining such a result by chance. A higher T-value indicates a greater difference between the means of the two groups and a lower probability of the difference occurring by chance.
