Functional Testing
Functional testing is a type of software testing that verifies the software system against the functional requirements/specifications. The purpose of functional testing is to ensure that the software system is working as per the requirements and specifications. It involves testing the software system for its functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and security. Functional testing can be performed manually or using automated testing tools. The different types of functional testing include unit testing, integration testing, system testing, acceptance testing, and regression testing.
