Statistical Test

In Data Science, a statistical test is a method of analyzing data to determine whether a hypothesis is supported or not. It involves comparing observed data with expected data under a null hypothesis, and calculating a test statistic that measures the difference between the two. The test statistic is then compared to a critical value, and if it exceeds this value, the null hypothesis is rejected in favor of an alternative hypothesis.
