Regression Line
In Data Science, a regression line is a straight line that best fits the given set of data points. It is used to model the relationship between a dependent variable and one or more independent variables. The regression line is determined by minimizing the sum of the squared distances between the observed data points and the predicted values on the line. The slope of the regression line represents the change in the dependent variable for a unit change in the independent variable. The intercept of the regression line represents the value of the dependent variable when the independent variable is zero. Regression lines can be used for both simple linear regression, where there is only one independent variable, and multiple linear regression, where there are multiple independent variables.
