Lambda

Lambda is a function that is defined without a name and is a part of functional programming. It is a small anonymous function that can take any number of arguments, but can only have one expression. Lambda functions are often used as arguments to higher-order functions that take functions as inputs. In data science and artificial intelligence, lambda functions are commonly used in data preprocessing, data cleaning, and feature engineering. They are also used in machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, logistic regression, and decision trees. Lambda functions are particularly useful when working with large datasets, as they can be used to apply a function to each element of a dataset in parallel, which can significantly speed up computation time.
