Von Neumann Architecture
Von Neumann Architecture is a computer architecture design that is based on the concept of stored-program computers where program data and instruction data are stored in the same memory. This architecture is named after John von Neumann, a mathematician and computer scientist who first proposed this design in the late 1940s. The Von Neumann Architecture consists of a central processing unit (CPU), memory, input/output devices, and a bus that connects them. The CPU fetches instructions from memory, decodes them, executes them, and stores the results back in memory. This architecture is widely used in modern computers and is the basis for the design of most general-purpose computers.
