Stateless refers to a system or application that does not store any data or information about previous interactions with a user. In other words, each request made to the system is treated as an independent transaction, without any knowledge of previous requests. Stateless systems are often used in web applications, where the server does not need to maintain a session with the client. Instead, each request from the client includes all the necessary information for the server to process the request and return a response. This approach can improve scalability and reliability, as there is no need to store and manage session data. However, it can also make certain tasks more difficult, such as maintaining user authentication across multiple requests.
