Ratio Data
Ratio data is a type of quantitative data that has a natural zero point and the intervals between values are equal. This means that not only can we determine the difference between two values, but we can also determine the ratio between them. Examples of ratio data include height, weight, distance, and time. In data science, ratio data is important because it allows for more advanced statistical analysis such as regression analysis and hypothesis testing. It also allows for the use of more advanced machine learning algorithms such as decision trees and neural networks.
