Queuing Theory

Queuing Theory is a mathematical study of waiting lines or queues. It is used to analyze and model the behavior of systems where customers arrive randomly and wait in line for service. Queuing theory helps to optimize the performance of such systems by predicting the average waiting time, queue length, and service time. It also helps to determine the number of servers required to meet a given service level and to design efficient service policies. Queuing theory is widely used in various fields such as telecommunications, transportation, healthcare, manufacturing, and computer systems.
