Outcome Variable

For example, in a medical study, the outcome variable could be the presence or absence of a disease, and the independent variables could be age, gender, and lifestyle factors. In a marketing study, the outcome variable could be the sales volume of a product, and the independent variables could be the price, promotion, and distribution channels.
