Logic Programming

Logic Programming is a programming paradigm that uses logic to express facts and rules about a problem domain and infer new knowledge from them. It is based on formal logic and allows the programmer to specify what needs to be done rather than how to do it. In logic programming, the program consists of a set of logical statements that describe the problem domain and a set of rules that define how to manipulate those statements to derive new knowledge. The most popular logic programming language is Prolog, which is widely used in Artificial Intelligence applications such as natural language processing, expert systems, and automated reasoning.
