CSC Format

CSC format is a sparse matrix storage format used in data science and machine learning. In this format, the matrix is represented by three arrays: the first array contains the non-zero values of the matrix, the second array contains the column indices of these values, and the third array contains the starting index of each row in the first array and second array. This format is particularly useful for large sparse matrices, where the majority of the elements are zero. By only storing the non-zero values, CSC format reduces the memory requirements for storing the matrix. Additionally, CSC format allows for efficient column-wise operations, such as matrix-vector multiplication.
