Classifier
In Data Science, a classifier is a model that is trained to predict the class or category of a given input data point. It is a supervised learning technique that involves training a model on a labeled dataset, where the input data points are associated with a known class label. The goal of a classifier is to learn a decision boundary that separates the different classes in the input data space. Once the model is trained, it can be used to predict the class label of new, unseen data points. There are various types of classifiers, including binary classifiers, multi-class classifiers, and probabilistic classifiers. Commonly used classifiers in Data Science include logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, support vector machines, and neural networks.
