Central Limit Theorem
The Central Limit Theorem (CLT) is a statistical theory that states that the distribution of the sample means of any independent, random variable will be normal or nearly normal, if the sample size is large enough. This theorem is important because it allows us to make inferences about a population based on a sample, even if the population is not normally distributed. The CLT is widely used in hypothesis testing, confidence interval estimation, and other statistical analyses.
