ANOVA

ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) is a statistical method used to analyze the differences between two or more groups. It determines whether there is a significant difference between the means of the groups being compared. ANOVA is used to test hypotheses and make inferences about population means based on sample data. It decomposes the total variability in the data into different sources of variation, such as between-group variation and within-group variation. The F-test is used to determine whether the between-group variation is significantly greater than the within-group variation. ANOVA is commonly used in experimental research, where it is used to compare the means of different treatments or interventions. It is also used in observational studies, where it is used to compare the means of different groups based on some characteristic or variable.
