ABAC

Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) is a type of access control model that uses attributes to determine access rights. In ABAC, access decisions are based on attributes of the user, resource, and environment. These attributes are evaluated against a set of policies to determine whether access should be granted or denied. ABAC provides a more flexible and dynamic approach to access control than traditional models, such as role-based access control (RBAC) and discretionary access control (DAC). With ABAC, access can be granted based on a wide range of attributes, including user roles, job titles, location, time of day, and many others. This allows organizations to implement fine-grained access control policies that are tailored to their specific needs.
