Time-to-Event Data

Time-to-Event data is a type of data that records the time between a specific starting point and the occurrence of a particular event. In data science, this type of data is commonly used in survival analysis, which is a statistical method used to analyze the time it takes for an event of interest to occur. Time-to-Event data can be censored, meaning that the event of interest has not yet occurred for some of the observations, or it can be uncensored, meaning that the event has occurred for all observations. This type of data is often used in medical research to analyze the time it takes for a patient to experience a particular outcome, such as death or disease progression. It is also used in other fields such as finance, engineering, and social sciences to analyze the time it takes for a particular event to occur.
