OSI Model
The OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) Model is a conceptual framework used to describe the communication functions of a telecommunication or computing system. It divides the communication process into seven layers, each layer performing a specific function and interacting with the layers above and below it. The seven layers are: Physical, Data Link, Network, Transport, Session, Presentation, and Application. The model provides a standard for communication between different systems and allows for interoperability between different network devices and software applications.
