Baum-Welch Algorithm

Baum-Welch Algorithm is a statistical algorithm used to find the parameters of a hidden Markov model (HMM). It is an iterative algorithm that uses the forward-backward algorithm to calculate the likelihood of the observed data and then updates the model parameters to maximize the likelihood. The algorithm is used in various applications such as speech recognition, bioinformatics, and natural language processing. The Baum-Welch algorithm is also known as the forward-backward algorithm.
